The Agawa Canyon Tour Train is one of the most popular train excursions in North America. This one day wilderness excursion will take you 114 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, over towering trestles, alongside pristine northern lakes and rivers, and through the awesome granite rock formations and mixed forests of the Canadian Shield.
The most popular time of year for the train is in the fall when the autumn colours are at their peak. The train runs daily through the summer months. There is also a Snow Train tour that runs during select weekends in late January or early February.
The tour train station is just a block away from the City Centre Travelodge. You may walk, or there is plenty of free parking at the station as well.
